An ongoing ethical wardrobe dilemma, the realities of textile recycling, even more microplastics, and how Stella McCartney is pioneering bio-based fabrics
Love this post so much! In my Christmas gift guide, I shared a bag from Santos, a cactus leather brand that uses zero plastic and no water (only rainwater is used). Since you're a vegan, I thought it might be of interest! https://santosbymonica.com/
The vegan meme is really funny. Especially because I’ve really noticed this among my vegan friends 😂. I admire how dedicated you are to protecting the planet. I can also see how the imposed limitation of not wearing animal products can keep you from overshopping so it’s a win/win.
Haha, when you become vegan you have to sign a pledge that you’ll tell everyone you’re vegan within five minutes of meeting them. But thank you, one day I’m going to work up to a no buy 365.

It’s encouraging to hear about the strides being made for fabric recycling and plant based textiles, thank you!
Thank you for reading! There's so much circular innovation out there right now, I'm so curious what the landscape will look like in five years.
So much great research. I love that every one of your decisions and opinions are researched and that you are always open to learning.
Thank you for the kind words ❤️
Great information. Gave me a lot to think about!
Thank you! Please let me know if I can help answer any questions :)
