This is so good! I loved the view into how you think. My biggest secondhand aha also came from Allison Bornstein -- requiring a full body yes. On every single piece. No "I think I can make it work" or even "I can make it work" -- I don't want to have to "make it" work. I want it working for me like it's on payroll! XX
Thank you Rachel! And that is amazing advice - 2025 is going to be my year of full body yes instead of trying to make something work just because it's secondhand.
Thanks for a really interesting read! It really resonates because I identify as a maximalist but as I get older there is something really appealing and calming about a more minimal wardrobe! And omg i definitely need to replace my very old workout gear too! Merry Christmas 🫶🏼✨️🎄
Thanks so much! And totally - I've found it easier to get dressed since I'm not trying to match my prints and patterns every day. Although I love looking at everyone's maximalist style and live vicariously through @natashahmedx on Instagram.
I appreciate the tip about ThredUps Active Wear because it's probably time for me to reinvest in some new stuff after wearing holes in my current stash.
Yes! ThredUp is such a treasure trove for new with tags and excellent condition activewear. And totally agree on Allison's thoughts on multiples (and everything else she writes tbh).
Tina, this is wonderful and thank you so much for the mention! Absolutely loved reading through this journey. It’s so interesting!
I loved your "Everything I Bought" posts with a capital L - such a helpful and transparent breakdown :)
I really enjoyed reading this and love your style! Also serious respect for your commitment to buying preloved ❤️
Thanks so much Xue! And you are giving me serious inspiration to get started on my Indyx this week.
Do it!! I really do love it <3

PS- I loved AB's take on buying multiples.
