What an awesome roundup, Tina! I found myself mentally going through my closet thinking about all the things I already own that fit these trends. Wait till you see my Kenzo denim suit that I wore this past week, and my emerald green Escada coat dress with the sculpted sleeves, you’re gonna die.😁💕
I absolutely adore, vintage suiting, and there is so much good stuff out there secondhand. Thanks for including the excellent article on sizing vintage, you’re a rockstar.
You had me at Kenzo denim suit...and then Escada sculpted sleeves :) Looking forward to this Sheila! Agree, Hilliary's post was such a fantastic curation of preloved suiting.
Loved all your observations!! I've seen polka dots resurge across brands as well. It's like they all talk to each other!? hehe
The exaggerated sleeve blazer reminds me of a blazer I was sad I didn't get to try while I was in Mexico City last year. Not quite like the ones pictured above, but a little some different than the typical blazer.
Thank you! Haha, you're not far off about brands talking to each other about polka dots since some brands use trend forecasting agencies or work with vendors that use these services to help guide their collections.
And I'm so curious what you saw in Paris during fashion week - were there any trends that really stood out to you? I'm going to live vicariously through you :)
I didn't learn that until last year, and I remember being shocked! Though, it's not surprising there is an agency that dictate upcoming trends.
I saw much of the same! It was actually fun to see people who were attending Fashion week on the metro. One gal was headed to Dior and I recall thinking she looked so chic. It took me by surprise that she was on the metro, but it is definitely faster.
That sounds so amazing! I loveee seeing chicly dressed people irl - I was so happy to see that boots pic in your Notes, truly a fashion in the wild moment :)
Wow thank you so much for including my pre-loved power suits piece! I loved reading about all the different style suits (as I write this while wearing a denim suit) - so much inspiration here and would love to see if you get one of the amazing yellow ones - especially that Dries short suit!
Hilliary, your power suit roundup was SO GOOD! I'm blown away by your curation and eye for secondhand suiting. And I love that you're wearing a denim suit rn - so ahead of the curve.
First of all- so many incredible observations here!! I can’t wait to give some of them a whirl asap. Secondly- I feel like I can maybe retire now bc the automatic association I’ve created with myself and that necklace is honestly #goals 😂 - loved reading this Tina!
I do love that I think of you every time I see the Juju Vera necklace :) But you can't go into retirement yet Sogole! You still have the Victoria bag ahead of you...Google Trends shows a rise in search interest driven by NY and CA around when you published your Substack on it. https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=today%201-m&geo=US&q=hermes%20victoria&hl=en

You are incredible!!!! What a great post, I'm left with so many ideas!!!
Thank you so much Xue! The styling was so good in Paris, it was hard to distill this into one post with so much to choose from :)
You’re doing a public service :)
Loving the Moto Suit look!
Same, that was one of my favorites!
Great round-up, Tina! I love Hilliary’s piece, too, and also an I. Love with that Dries short suit!
Thank you Lindsay! Hilliary's post was so inspiring and a big yes that Dries short suit :)
Girl, none of these trends work for me :,) I am in the few 13% of folks who voted Peplums, which is the only trend I think I can pull off hahaha
I will be in that 13% with you and think you have great taste :) I love a good peplum and tbh it's the greatest comeback silhouette on the list.

Tina this is so cool! Sogole's influence runs deep!!!
Blushing over here 😊
It's incredible! I can't wait to see what Sogole predicts next :)
